Sheesh, it's been awhile since I've written anything here. Mostly because I don't think people read blogs anymore, but I'll give an update anyway. I have an Instagram account @nicole_l_bailey and my author page on Facebook is under Nicole L. Bailey where I have all of my updates on new books and current writing I'm doing.
I now have five books published on Amazon in paperback and kindle.
-In the Midst of Darkness (Book 1)-which is a vampire romance
-Return to Darkness (Book 2)-continues their story and now has an epilogue added in the 2nd ed. and also a new cover
-Destiny Bound (Book 1)-a werewolf/witch romance
-Destiny Revealed (Book 2)- continues the story and also has a new, way cooler cover
-Broken Curse (Book 1.5)-Nick's point of view of book 1
I'm currently a little over 200 pages into a new novel where faeries, vampires, werewolves and witches all exist. The main characters and focus are on faeries and vampires though. It's got language and a little steaminess in it so not for teens probably, but once I finish, I'm going to try and tame it down a little, but if I feel like it will take away from the story, I might leave it or maybe it's a fun story for me and won't be published. I've been ignoring my family this past week and pouring the story out of me. I started it at least a year ago and then stopped not too far in because I couldn't figure out how to get to the conflict I wanted to create. But I've read a few really good books on kindle lately and it made me want to write and feel ready to write again. It's crazy the way the story just forms in my head and I have to get it down on paper or I can't function. I need to tell Moira's story. I need to finish it while it's all up in my head. I wish I there were words I could use so that would make sense to non-writers.
So anyway, that's what's up for now. It still doesn't have a title. Which won't matter if I don't publish, but it's still bugging me anyway that I can't come up with one. I'm trying to think of something simple. I thought of one, but it has 'bound' in the title and I've already got one novel with that so I need to get more creative.
